Excerpt from Evangel, Vol. 37: Official Organ of the North Carolina Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, January, 1982
As we began the new year 1981, everyone with a new page to write in it a part of our life. My personal desire for the new year was to live every day as if it were my last day. To labor in God's Kingdom as He would have me do. I have endeavored to do my best and what I felt was-pleasing to God.
This has been one of the busiest years of my life. Our first round _of District Conferences began Jan. 19 to continue through February 3 and nine districts. Each was well at tended, with local. Pastors preaching in each district. The spirit was great and each minister brought us a chal: lenge for the new year. From there, there were hundreds of avenues to fol low through the year. Needless to say, you, fellow minister, followed some of the same strenuous demands on your life and time. In each case we gave our best and the results have been te warding.
